Welcome to the Urban Financial Services Coalition New York

The Urban Financial Services Coalition - New York is the founding chapter of the Urban Financial Services Coalition, formerly Urban Bankers Coalition. The organization is the premier international organization for minority professionals in the financial services industry. The organization was founded in 1974 in New York City and has representation across the U.S. and Toronto Canada. UFSC provides professional development programs, support educational advancement, and promotes economic empowerment for its members and the community at large.

Our membership includes professionals, representing areas of expertise ranging from investment banking, to technology, financial services and commercial back office operations, as well as entrepreneurs. As participants in the private sector, we strive to have a positive impact on the changes in our community through educational and scholarship programs, community activities, and mentoring opportunities.

To Membership, Stakeholders and the Community,

In my closing message to you as 2009 - 2011 Urban Financial Services Coalition-New York ("UFSC-NY") President, I reflect on what an outstanding two (2) years it has been! Our theme for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011 is "UFSC-NY: We are Resilient!" I am humbled and moved by the remarkable impact our organization has on its members, stakeholders and the community.
